Answers to questions from our Facebook friends we thought would be helpful as you prepare to return:

  1. are grocery stores really empty? my team’s person experiences are that there is very little toilet paper and Clorox wipes. The last time I shopped at the Harris Teeter in Southern Shores, there was plenty of beef, very little chicken.. All other supplies were stocked. I had a similar experience in the Harris Teeter in Corolla a few days before.

  2. what restaurants are open? None are open for dining in, of course, but several are open with limited menus. A few of our favorites are: Blue Moon, Max’s, Bad Bean, The Village, Pizza Stop, Bernies, Vilai's Thai Kitchen, Steamers and Johns. Some of our FB friends, Nicole and Chris, have been loving NC Coast, Run Down and Food Dudes. Kill Devil Grill opened last Friday and Saturday night for the first time!

  3. are the beaches open? yes! Fish, sunbath, swim, sea-shell hunt…soak in some Vitamin D!

As always, call, text or email if you have any questions or need our help with anything. -Sarah
